The General Directions provide for the control of ADPC port waters by the Harbour Master. The General Directions therefore primarily deal with the conduct of navigation noting that they may also be used to address any development in port waters impacting on the safety of navigation or the environment, for example the erection and maintenance of quays, jetties and other structures interfacing with ADPC waters.
