Welcome to the ports of Abu Dhabi.
It is with immense pride that ADPC leads the change within the maritime landscape of Abu Dhabi, a responsibility we take seriously as an enabler of economic development for Abu Dhabi as a whole. Our teams are continuously working with all key stakeholders, regulators and government agencies to improve and establish an efficient supply chain model for Abu Dhabi.
For our part as the mandated Port Authority we manage a wide spectrum of port assets from Al Sila in far west bordering Saudi Arabia to Khalifa Port in the east 40 Kms from Dubai. Each port is unique to its surroundings and ADPC strives to deliver the best customized solutions within its ports network to enhance the communities they serve.
As much as port infrastructure is important to economic development, the essential support services extended beyond the port gates is equally vital to enabling trade and industrial growth. Customer Engagement is a crucial aspect of our business development and it provides focus to customizing our port facilities to market demands. In keeping with this commitment we have embarked on a project to establish a Port Community System which ties in all essential services offered by various stakeholders across our ports and terminals.
We sit on the threshold of a historic moment for Abu Dhabi and the region as a whole with the launch of ADPC’s flagship Khalifa Port in 2012. Khalifa Port will primarily serve as a gateway for KIZAD industries and the Abu Dhabi trade which currently is served over Mina Zayed. At 417 Sq Km KIZAD will be one of the largest industrial zones in the world and along with Khalifa Port will have a wider impact on the logistics networks for the UAE and the region as a whole.
We invite you to join us on this exciting and challenging voyage.
